Description

Are you an inquiring mind who needs to know?  Do you question everything?  Do you like coming up with suggestions and improvements?  Can you do math in your head? Are you influential?  Can you make a case for a better way?

Then this might be a GREAT opportunity for you.  This is a new position, giving you the chance to shape it and make an impact on our top line and bottom line revenue!

Stewart is a subsidiary of Xerox. We are the elite sales and service provider of digital document imaging solutions for the entire state of New Jersey and eastern part of Pennsylvania. We're a locally run company trusted by the region's businesses since 1959 with the backing of a Fortune 500 company, Xerox. We're headquartered in Mount Laurel, New Jersey and have offices in Princeton, Rochelle Park, Brick, as well as Philadelphia, PA. Our decentralized management philosophy allows for very responsive and personalized customer service and support. We offer extensive training, a full suite of benefits, a positive working environment, and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
As we mentioned, this is a new role, so we're still working on the fine print.  Some things we anticipate you'll be responsible for are:

  • Review each sales proposal to identify if there's a better way to structure the transaction
  • Discuss the sales proposal with the sales rep and the sales director to inform/influence them
  • Analyze each sales order; do a quality check to ensure all is accurate
  • Verify pricing and other calculations
  • Assist with order entry at crunch times
  • Review monthly summary of "wins" (customer orders that are profitable); what can be learned and shared with other sales team members?
  • Review monthly summary of "losses" (customers that did not renew their agreements).  What happened?  What could we have done differently
  • Review monthly summary of "churns" (customer upgrades and contract renewals but at a lower rate).  What happened?
  • Analyze all variances in billing -- positive and negative -- to catch errors and correct

Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical and curious
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
