GDP's Customer Care Representatives are responsible for providing immediate service and support to customers experiencing equipment issues or having network issues related to their office technology. Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers and customers
Responds to incoming support calls in a timely, professional manner. Evaluates customer issues and gives assistance utilizing all available resources.
Makes entries of incoming issues and all activities that pertain to any existing issues within the call database software. Data entry is accurate, detailed and includes all required fields.
Willingly assists in other service areas on an as-needed basis
Processes service requests for Field Service Techs in a logical, efficient professional, cost-effective manner
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Prefer Associates Degree and/or at least 1 year customer service industry experience
High School diploma or GED required
Experience working with Windows-based operating systems plus strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work under stress; prioritize and perform a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction
Excellent verbal and written customer service skills
Proven ability to seek out relevant information through web based research prior to making timely decisions
Strong relationship management skills with external and internal customers is required
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
