Berney Office Solutions, a XEROX Company, is currently seeking a strong leader to become our newest Sales Manager in Huntsville, AL.  This individual will have an outstanding track record of success and achieving goals.  He or she will bring lots of energy to the table as they proactively direct a sales team to achieve maximum productivity and profitability within the assigned market.  Industry experience (or similar) is required.

DUTIES

-Motivate and manage a sales team within the assigned geographic area;

-Continue a culture of success;

-Effectively train, develop and coach sales representatives;

-Manage profitability and operating expenses within budget for your branch;

-Ensure monthly expectations in revenue, gross margin, business mix and documented sales activities are met for the Team;

-Responsible for helping Team maximize all product lines;

-Responsible for identifying, recruiting, interviewing and hiring potential sales candidates as needed;

-Execute one-on-ones, sales meetings and ride alongs for staff development;

-Establish and maintain close contact with customers and prospects in assigned geography;

-Ensure that all approved sales initiatives, contests and promos are appropriately implemented and progress is tracked;

-Uphold and implement company core values and ethics;

-Other duties as assigned.  Leadership reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor's Degree along with 3+ years of industry-relevant sales experience is strongly preferred;

-Experience managing a B2B sales team preferred;

-Must have exceptional sales performance and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment;

-Ability to coach and inspire the sales team to achieve greatness;

-Strong relationship management skills with staff, customers and vendors within the organization;

-Strong negotiation and organizational skills;

-Must be able to meet sales quotas and deadlines, while prioritizing conflicting demands;

-Ability to handle stress and pressure;

-Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decision;

-Computer and technology literacy required;

-Able to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods;

-Able to travel to customer sites, offsite meetings, company related functions, etc. with short notice;

-Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member;

-Valid driver's license with minimum level of company auto insurance required.
