Berney Office Solutions has an opening for a full-time Field Service Technician in Huntsville, AL.  This individual will provide hands-on servicing of copy machines and office equipment at various customer sites throughout the North Alabama region.  Our number one priority is to provide total customer satisfaction which we accomplish by being committed to the skill development of our employees through extensive ongoing training programs and providing an exceptional work environment.

Technician Duties:

  • Restore copiers, printers, and other office equipment to proper working order through timely response and effective repair.
  • Use our customer service training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, as you'll engage with customers at their locations on a daily basis.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive, and professional.
  • Provide accurate call close information, parts usage reporting, and track and maintain accurate assigned inventory.
  • Perform other duties that support Berney Office Solutions and our service organization.

Technician Qualifications:

  • Must have computer, mechanical OR electrical experience.  Any copier or printer repair experience is a plus, though not required.
  • An understanding of basic computer networking is preferred. 
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service required.
  • Able to uphold company car program along with a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes is required.
