Xerox Business Solutions Southwest is currently looking for a Parts Receiving Clerkto join our San Antonio team!

We are in search of a positive individual with a can-do, will-do, No-Excuses attitude who wants to be a part of something big!

Parts Receiving Clerkpositionexists to store and issue copier/MFP and related parts and supplies. Work is performed under the general direction of the Inventory Supervisor.The positionrequires the ability to multi-task, and problem solve, as well as work well with others.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes inventory levels and demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs, using Inventory Logistics Console (ILC) and comparative reporting.
  • Orders parts from multiple vendors, PartSpy and/or National Parts Reclamation (NPR) replenishing exhausted parts in a timely manner.
  • Process warranty returns and monitor for credit from the manufacturer.
  • Participates in department quarterly inventory.
  • Verifies quantities of inbound replenishment shipments in a timely manner and reports discrepancies to manager.
  • Establishes and maintains bin locations for parts to ensure accurate product placement and retrieval.
  • Provide face to face customer support to walk-up order counter.
  • Responsible for filling and shipping customer orders using UPS worldship.
  • Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture.
  • Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers.
  • Participates in department quarterly inventory.
  • Maintains cleanliness and order of parts room.
  • Performs other various duties assigned.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Ability to work with others administration, logistics, sales, and service personnel.

Education/Training /Experience:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least one year parts department experience preferred
  • PC experience and aptitude preferred
  • Microsoft applications Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Customer service skills preferred

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Moderate physical effort required. Work will involve walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh 10 to 50 lbs. Regular application of basic skills (keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination) The employee work environment will be a warehouse setting with light noise levels.

Standards of Measuring Performance:

  • Ability to work well with others
  • Inventory accuracy (accurate counts from receipt and transfer of inventory)
  • Accurate bin locations for products on shelves
