Saxon Business Systems, A Xerox Company is looking for a Logistics Driver / Warehouse Generalist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. Job Duties:Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

• Daily drives 16' and/or 26' box truck with operating liftgate for delivery and pick-up of Xerox multi-functional printers, copiers, and office equipment for North Florida down to Central Florida region.
• Technical ability to assemble Xerox equipment in our warehouse, shop and client's office.
• Technical ability to connect Xerox equipment to client's network and assign basic network parameters (ip address), while working via phone with remote support.
• Assist in the Shop with preps as needed
• Assists shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sale orders
• Examine sales orders to determine items to be pulled, moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers and outside customers and vendors
• Always conducts self as the public image of the company in accordance with Saxon Business Systems Code of Conduct
• Verifies all piece counts, notes damage and discrepancies, record all serial numbers, and turns in documentation to Inventory Control.
• Ensure warehouse and work area is organized and maintained in secure, safe, and orderly condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous stable job history
• Ability to lift 50-75lbs repetitively
• 2+ years driving box truck experience a plus
• Basic mechanical aptitude and demonstrated skills required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Ability to work with and assist admin, logistics, sales, and service personnel.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to drive, walk, stand, push and pull copiers and printers. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently move equipment weighing up to 900 pounds. Movement includes pushing and pulling. The employee must also frequently use a mechanical stair climber to move equipment weighing up to 900 pounds. This may require a great deal of physical exertion with a pulling motion up to 150 pounds. The employee may also be required to lift-up to approximately 100 pounds in handling and transporting items.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. There is limited air conditioning in the Warehouse. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
