As a Product Trainer you will be responsible for fully training customers and sales reps on functions and care of our digital equipment solutions.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and expertise:

Customer Focus and Sales Orientation

  • Schedules training for customers on new and existing equipment
  • Manages customer expectations with ease and confidence
  • Handles customer service calls and provide phone and on-site support
  • Communicates with customers in an enthusiastic and professional manner at all times
  • Holds a desire to partner with Sales Consultants to drive exceptional customer value
  • Being able to work with cross functional departments
  • Create and collect training materials for customers and sales reps
  • Other duties as assigned

Planning & Organizing

  • Manages multiple responsibilities related to customer requirements, reporting and communications
  • Sets priorities and seeks out methods to maintain an organized workflow
  • Works with both Sales Managers and Learning & Development Team to coordinate hands on equipment training for new and current sales representatives
  • Takes responsibility for delivering requirements on time and with a high degree of quality

Technical Aptitude

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of excel, database usage and basic software applications
  • Is an avid learner who appreciates the value of state-of-the-art technology
  • Have full and up-to-date knowledge of the Xerox, SMART Technology and any other equipment sold by CBS.
  • Have full working knowledge with all of our software solutions
  • Keeps up-to-date on all training materials, software applications, and equipment: Xerox, SMART Technology, etc...

Desired Competencies and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and one year of general office experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Capable of learning new technology applications. Basic knowledge of those used in conjunction with our equipment: i.e. MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Mac applications, Quark, Photoshop, PageMaker
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Must be willing to travel within company territory of CT, NY, MA and RI
