As a Lewan Software Support Specialist you will work assisting end-users as well as Management information Systems (MIS) staff members in software application support and related administrative activities. You will be the primary responder to incident/trouble cases involving problem-solving, escalation and engaging with the MIS team on resolution and prevention. You will also work with end users on adoption and training within our software projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for various administrative components of the MIS department (examples include generating and managing reports, performing data management activities and access/permissions management.) You will a primary bridge between our end-users and our development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work through incident cases (often trouble tickets with e-automate, SalesForce or other apps)
  • Field first level responses
  • Escalation to MIS and COR teams where appropriate
  • Escalation to vendor support
  • Data governance including data maintenance, capacity monitoring and management, etc.
  • Data entry, documentation and other administrative activities
  • Data Access and Security maintenance & management (permission changes, new user setups, etc. in application environments)
  • Routine as well as ad-hoc reporting (entails gathering and assembling data, where possible working with development team for automation)
  • Working with end users on application training and adoption supporting our ongoing software development projects and initiatives
  • Working with MIS development team feeding projects for automation and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with some post-high school curriculum
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) required, emphasis Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills a must
  • Desire to grow in application knowledge (primarily ERP, CRM and custom app environments)
  • Must take initiative on application/technology learning and mastery
  • Flexibility: some routine work but very frequently there will be a very wide variety of activity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM, ERP and ECM application environments a plus
  • Prior experience in training a plus
  • Experience in a support role
