Lewan Technology, A Xerox Company, is seeking a Cisco Unified Communications Engineer to join our ever-growing national team.


As a Senior Cisco Unified Communications Engineerwithin the Service Delivery consulting organization, you will ensure successful outcomes for our clients by providing a world class customer experience. You'll work closely with our clients, sales team, and peers to design, implement, and support Cisco Unified Communications solutions to include Communications Manager, Unity, UCCX, IM&P, Workforce Management etc., as well as associated UCS and voice gateway hardware. You will be responsible for new installations, upgrades, and expansions. There is occasional travel to out-of-state client sites, as well as frequent weekend and evening hours for which you will be compensated. Work is commonly done on-site in the Denver metro area. A combination of deep technical expertise, a strong sense of personal integrity, a professional demeanor, and a focus on building lasting client relationships will be critical to ensuring ongoing success for our organization and that of our clients.


  • Design, install, configure, troubleshoot, monitor, upgrade, and support extensive Cisco Unified Communications solutions with clients.
  • Design, install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade and support UCS servers and voice gateway appliances and common equipment provides key network services including switching, routing, remote accessVPNappliances, Firewall/AMP/Stealthwatch, DNS/DHCP services, etc.
  • Design, install, configure network and UC monitoring solutions.
  • Be able to write and troubleshoot Cisco UCCX contact center scripts.
  • Be able to configure and coach clients n Cisco UCCX contact center reporting tools.
  • Use packet capture tools (wired and wireless) to identify and resolve user or network communications issues that may be affecting a UC environment's performance.
  • Work with users, clients, vendors, and ISPs to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LAN/WAN communications, point-to-point links, site-to-site VPNS, Internet access, etc.
  • Create documents pertaining to UC changes and activities.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise networks.
  • Provide technical support, training, and troubleshooting for clients and assistance to our Solution Center for locations where you have installed systems.
  • Design and install daily monitoring systems for Cisco UC solutions.
  • Ensure positive outcomes through a fanatical focus on client satisfaction


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Voice)
  • 10+ years of Cisco UC consulting experience.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office including Visio.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must maintain car insurance with company acceptable limits
  • Ability to travel to client sites using own vehicle, several times each week
  • Willingness for out-of-state overnight travel up to 15%
