Description: | Consider joining a Xerox Company! Michigan Office Solutions has an opening to join their leasing team.
The Leasing Administrator will be responsible for managing the leasing process and leasing documents as well as providing a high level of customer service. Duties include obtaining lease approvals and buyouts; approving pricing on new lease deals. This leasing team member coordinates with the Sales team to ensure all paperwork is turned in and filled out correctly. Coordinates and negotiates with leasing companies on everything from lease approvals, funding of deals, maintaining new reports, assisting with credit apps and approvals, funded accounts and buyouts.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Coordinate all activities with company-approved leasing sources:
o Submits lease applications to approved lease companies for prospective sales
o Requests buyout and other information from leasing companies
o Distributes lease credit approvals, declines, upgrades and buyout information to Sales
o Audits lease documents and sends to leasing companies
o Audits equipment return instructions and works with warehouse for timely equipment returns
In-depth knowledge of leasing industry. Understands interest rates, calculations and rate factors
Knowledgeable about lease documentation, financial statements and the complete credit process
Has the ability to structure lease and CPC proposals to meet client's needs and thoroughly understands leasing's role in the organization's success
Verify all rates, blending, base, Rep, Service, etc.
Handles complex problems effectively. Separates key issues and generates multiple solutions
Shops for other leasing sources for declined credit applications
Assists sales and customers with lease-related issues, including documentation of insurance coverage on the leased equipment
Verifies funding information from leasing companies and forwards to AR for application
Constantly tracks all leasing activities to ensure everything is covered from start to finish
Processes Lenders spreadsheet for multiple-machine orders; reformat OMD invoices to meet leasing company requirements
Develops and structures leasing transactions so they fit the collateralization requirements for the leasing company
Demonstrates expert knowledge of the competitive market
Audits order packet for completeness and accuracy during heavy volume times of the month.
Processes equipment sales orders into OMD during heavy volume times of the month.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
College degree preferred with at least three years of leasing experience, preferably within the copier industry
Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills; prioritize and perform a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues
Computer competency is an essential function Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
Professional appearance is expected with the ability to work extra hours as required
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
