Description: | JOB SUMMARY:
Performs payroll activities including processing payroll, answering employee questions, and troubleshooting issues. Set up and maintain payroll system related functions.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
DESCRIPTION:
• Prepare and ensure payroll accuracy; process semi-monthly payroll
• Resolve payroll issues for field and headquarters employees
• Respond to payroll related inquiries from employees, managers, and outside agencies
• Prepare and gather various reports via ADP report writer, Query and iReports
• Track payroll vendor invoices
• Manage ADP Unemployment services
• Set up and maintain system codes such as earnings, deductions, departments, passwords and employee ID numbers
• Perform other related duties and special projects as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-8 years payroll processing experience
• Must have experience with ADP Enterprise (Version 5.0 is a plus)
• Technical knowledge of payroll and related systems such as time and attendance, report writing and ADP iPay
• Proficient with PC software applications, including Excel and Word
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong numerical ability; Knowledge of basic accounting practices
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Sensitive to confidential situations and information
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities; able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Detail oriented
EDUCATION:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and education
