K-12 Software Solutions Specialist

Duties:

• Represent Xerox Audio Visual Solutions as a product specialist for selected educational software products.
• Directly initiate and close sales of specific software products and student devices
• Develop software marketing strategies for specified products within a defined territory
• Work closely with Educational Technology Trainers to increase sales of fee-based training days
• Look for and identify additional third-party software that can be sold through the K12 channel
• Be able to demonstrate the features and benefits of educational software to district level K-12 customers.
• Work as a partner in joint selling efforts with the K-12 sales team to increase sales of software products within their territories.
• Represent Xerox Audio Visual Solutions at trade shows and conferences.
• Train sales reps to more effectively sell software

Qualifications:

• Education sales experience required, curriculum software sales preferred
• Ability to build relationships at district level Strong organization skills, self motivator
• Bachelors degree preferred, high school diploma required
• Must be able to drive throughout territory, lift and assemble demo equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and stand and present for multiple hours at a time
