THE OPPORTUNITY: SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for Road Warriors with a passion for sales who will present our software and service offerings to companies throughout the area. This is a high activity level general territory position within a protected set of zip codes, focusing on developing new business through prospecting and cold calling, as well as using your strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Duties:

SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility is to act as a sales representative for the Software Solutions Team driving new revenues from solutions-oriented software sales, related professional services and consulting engagements.

The Software Solutions Sales Rep will act as the software/services practice leader within the territory, serve as a technology advocate to internal team members and external clients driving new opportunities and function as the primary liaison between Sales and Professional services managing the sales process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Achieve quarterly & annual quota

• Provide accurate sales forecasting to management, using CRM and any method requested

• Maintain a business development pipeline 4x-5x quota

• Ensure customer reference-ability for all managed accounts

• Function as sales-focused subject matter expert related to document management, content management, business process automation, and related technologies

• Develop and track new business opportunities through cold calling, reference calls, account reviews, and be able manage initial and ongoing contact independently

• Consults with customers to ascertain and define need or problem area, and determine scope of investigation required to obtain solution

• Become sales certified on required product lines in order to properly configure and price each solution

• Manage solution design processes and coordinate all activities with ComDoc Professional Services staff

• Works with ComDoc Professional Services to plan solutions presentations

• Manage opportunities in process, track progress, and be able to report activity in timely manner to ComDoc management and professional services

• Act as customer’s “go-to” during implementation to ensure all aspects of a project are to the satisfaction of the customer within the confines of the statement of work

• Communicates with internal and vendor technical support personnel to find the appropriate resolution to problems

• Ensures technical problem resolution until a customer post implementation signature is obtained

Qualifications:

Must be able to travel 75% of the time to customer locations
