Electronic Systems is actively seeking a Sales Manager to lead one of our Hampton Roads commercial sales teams. For 30 years ESI has been the region’s leader in office technology. Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead a team of 6 to 9 sales professionals, ensure a consistent approach to sales activity, develop and execute business plans, and conduct ongoing skill development activities in conjunction with our sales training team
  • Meet or exceed budgeted revenue and profit goals
  • Participate in weekly sales managers calls and meetings, maintain accurate individual and team forecasts, and conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with sales reps
  • Maintain a solution selling environment
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales applicants for future openings
  • Work closely with service management to ensure outstanding customer service
  • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of our various product lines and remain current in the print technology industry
  • Promote cross selling between our print technology, information solutions, and mailing solutions groups.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years successful sales experience including at least 3 years leading a sales team in a technology-related industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Hampton Roads area
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proven analytical skills
