RelationshipsReports to: Field Service Manager Subordinate staff: none Other internal contacts: Technical Service Dispatcher External Contacts: Potential/ Existing Customers; Vendors Summary Statement: Providing service in a timely response; to ensure resolution of problem by making the necessary adjustments. Essential Functions •A. Technical Repair Servicing all assigned equipment with minimum supervision. Identifying and correcting the problem at hand. Installing necessary parts and providing necessary labor. Ordering parts as needed. •B. Customer Relations Greeting customers as equipment is dropped off to be serviced. Making sure service ticket is filled out completely by customer, indicating problem. Contacting customer with problem once discovered; providing estimate to ensure customer approval before equipment is serviced. Informing customer of services rendered. •C. Information Systems Completing all paperwork pertaining to a call at the close of each call. Submitting expense vouchers at the end of each accounting period. Maintaining an adequate supply of all forms necessary. Submitting paperwork to the branch on a daily basis. •D. Planning Receiving calls and sort in order of priority according to product, customer, geography, or time call was received. •E. Technical Publications Reading, correcting, filing all technical publications in a neat accessible manner as necessary to complete all service calls. F. Knowledge and Skills Successfully completed formal and on the job training, self study programs on equipment assigned; must be qualified to service all assigned equipment. Must be neat, courteous, organized, and possess good communication skills. •G. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent •H. Physical Characteristics Use of hands and fingers to write; repair equipment. Speak and communicate coherently. •I. Other Characteristics Required to attend monthly company meetings.
