Description: | Provide support to a team of outside sales account managers, that promote customer sales. This position is suited for the right individual looking for career advancement into professional business sales.
Responsibilities
- Assist account managers with supporting high-end solution opportunities within ISG’s four core competencies (network solutions, IPT, security and storage).
- Understand, manage, and report sales opportunities. Coordinate projects, deployments and inter-departmental meetings. Participate in formal bid requests.
- Proactively seek and track opportunities to extend product warranties, service agreements, NetKare agreements, software, licensing, and vendor service subscriptions.
- Compare vendor and distributor pricing to find most aggressive cost pricing.
- Respond and assist customers with all needs and questions including customer quoting or proposal requests.
- Contribute to ESI’s growth through presenting ideas/concepts to your immediate supervisors about marketing programs, sales programs, customers, product line enhancements, new products, new services, and new partnerships.
- Work with other divisions to participate in all cross-selling opportunities and to maximize selling potential within the company.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal/written communication and time management skills.
- 4-year degree in marketing, communications or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Work experience in the field of technology or certification in technology.
- Sales experience preferred.
- High degree of commitment to customer service.
- Commitment to lifelong learning
- Self-directed, adaptable and positive.
- Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced and matrixes environment.
- Demonstrated organizational, responsiveness, follow up skills and analytical skills, as this role will obtain, transfer and analyze key information to not only management, but also to customers.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills with a proven ability to work in teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
