Description:

Electronic Systems is expanding their sales team in Northern Virginia. We are actively recruiting for an Account Manger who will identify and consult on technology solutions to earn new customers; acquire and retain accounts by building a trusted advisor status with key decision makers; communicate strong value propositions, deliver professional proposals, adapt to customer requirements and improve customer success toward core business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and submit to management an annual sales business plan, including revenue and profit goals, targeted accounts, marketing strategies and other financial data as required and updates this plan quarterly.
  • Reviews each month's performance and revises goals accordingly.
  • Gain a specified number of new accounts each month by effective marketing.
  • Attends a network-marketing event twice monthly (NCTC, Region2000, local Chambers, others).
  • Conducts targeted telemarketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to ESI’s growth through presenting ideas/concepts to your immediate supervisors about marketing programs, sales programs, customers, product line enhancements, new products, new services, and new partnerships.
  • Works with other divisions to participate in all cross-selling opportunities and to maximize selling potential within the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of two years of progressive sales experience, in mid-market to enterprise level customer in Southwestern Virginia.
  • Punctual and competent with operational requirements such as forecasting, business planning, prospecting and managing vendor field relationships.
  • Self-directed, accountable, adapdtable and positive.
  • Valid driver’s license.
