We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Corpus Christi office. Field Service Technicians are responsible for responding to customer technical issues and providing on site resolution by making the necessary adjustments to onsite equipment.
Essential Functions
Technical Repair: Servicing all assigned equipment with minimal supervision. Identify and correcting technical issues. Installing, replacing, and repairing copier, printer, and faxes. Responsible for carrying assigned inventory of tools and parts in personal vehicle.
Customer Relations: Providing excellent customer service to Dahill prospects, customers, and/or vendors. Able to prioritize incoming service calls according to product, customer, geography, or time call. Greet customers as equipment is dropped off to be serviced. Ensure service tickets are complete, indicating technical issue, and resolution. Keep open channels of communication with Dahill customers. Provide on site technical issue overview, information regarding services rendered and minor troubleshooting guidance.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma/GED 2+ yrs of technical customer support Excellent time management skills Strong customer service and communication skills Valid drivers license, proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50-75lbs
Preferred: Associates Degree in Electronics Repair, Computer Networking or similar field Experienced in networking and/or repairing various copier, printer, and fax product lines. Working knowledge of Xerox and Sharp product lines. Previous experience in electronics, cellular, computer and software repair. This position works closely with the Dahill service manager to ensure our prospects and customers receive excellent customer service.
