Description: |
SUMMARY: Contacts vendor with delinquent accounts, initiates appropriate action, maintains records, and prepares necessary adjustments. Serves as centralized point of contact for all vendor receivables billed. Reviews and processes invoices for all branches and invoices received from vendor. Established internal procedures are utilized to include manual and online matching processes via ERP before a payment can be issued to a vendor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Process A/P invoices for payment: 50%
This includes coding invoices, data entry, parts Invoices, and reviewing Co-Op statements against the actual invoices for validity/input data into ERP.
• Accounts Receivable: 50%
This includes downloading and applying the Credit Memo against A/R invoices, collection calls and research to clear outstanding items, monthly/daily spreads, ACH application and cash back up during vacation.
• Special Projects as required..

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with credit processing required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. JDE preferred.
